When snaking and chemicals fall short, hydro jetting gets the job done. We use it across Vancouver, Camas, Battle Ground, and Ridgefield for tough clogs and preventive maintenance.

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to clear drains without harsh chemicals
Water-only cleaning. No chemicals, safer for pipes and the environment.

What Is Hydro Jetting?

Hydro jetting uses a specialized hose with a nozzle that shoots water at 1,500 to 4,000 PSI. The water blasts away grease, scale, roots, and debris from the inside of pipes. Unlike drain snakes that only punch through, hydro jetting cleans the full pipe wall.

How Hydro Jetting Works

We run a flexible hose through your drain or sewer cleanout. The nozzle has jets pointing backward and forward. Water flows through the hose, exits at high pressure, and scours the pipe. Debris flushes toward the main line or city connection.

Key Benefits

  • No harsh chemicals: Water does the work. Safer for pipes, septic systems, and the environment.
  • Cleans the whole pipe: Removes buildup that snakes leave behind, improving flow.
  • Handles roots: Cuts through tree roots that invade sewer lines.
  • Preventive maintenance: Annual jetting keeps lines clear before backups happen.

When Hydro Jetting Makes Sense

Hydro jetting is ideal for recurring clogs, slow drains that snaking did not fix, grease buildup in kitchen lines, and tree root intrusion. We often pair it with a camera inspection to see what we are dealing with first.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does hydro jetting cost in Vancouver WA?

Hydro jetting in Vancouver and Clark County typically runs $300-$600 for residential lines, depending on line length and clog severity. Main sewer lines and commercial jobs can be higher.

Is hydro jetting safe for old pipes?

Yes, when done by trained pros. We adjust pressure based on pipe material and condition. Camera inspection beforehand helps us avoid damaging weakened sections.

How often should I have my drains hydro jetted?

Annual hydro jetting is recommended for homes with tree roots nearby, grease-heavy kitchens, or older pipes. Preventive maintenance costs less than emergency repairs.

Can hydro jetting remove tree roots?

Yes. High-pressure water cuts through roots that invade sewer lines. Roots often grow back, so we may recommend root treatment or periodic jetting to keep lines clear.
